Nikon Eclipse NiU Microscope

Picture

Nikon's new Ni Series microscopes were developed to address the need for a microscope that is highly versatile, combining system expandability and superior optical performance in an easy-to-use system. The Ni-U can be configured in a multitude of ways depending on the requirements of the user. Its adaptability makes it suitable for many applications, from clinical examination to research, and features motorized accessories that include nosepiece, fluorescence attachment, and shutter.

Key Features

Fly-Eye Optics
The fly-eye optics built into the transmitted-light illumination system provides bright and uniform illumination across the entire field of view.

Superior Optical Performance
Nikon's new CFI Plan Apochromat Lambda objective lenses are included with the system. These objectives were produced with Nikon's exclusive Nano Crystal Coat technology, which offer remarkably high transmission and superior chromatic aberration correction throughout a broad range of wavelengths and are suitable for near-IR observation.

Noise Terminator
The Ni-U is equipped with Nikon noise terminator technology, which features fluorescent filter cubes and turrets that eliminate stray light, enabling the capture of high contrast fluorescence images with high S/N ratios.

Image Capture Button
Without removing your eyes from the eyepieces, simply press the conveniently located capture button to capture high resolution digital images to your server, PC, and various types of digital media.

Rotatable Ceramic Coated Stage
Covered with a durable ceramic coating, the Ni-U's stage facilitates adjustment of shear direction of DIC images and investigation of the polarizing property of samples.

100W Illumination100W illumination offers high-intensity light that is sufficient for observation using the 10-person teaching head.
